ElcomSoft releases a compatibility update for Elcomsoft System Recovery. Version 5.30 adds support for the new SAM encryption scheme used in Windows 10 Anniversary Update. In addition, the new release adds support for Windows Server 2016, improves built-in dictionary attacks and includes a handful of performance improvements and bug fixes.

Version 5.30 adds support for the new SAM encryption scheme implemented in Windows 10 Anniversary Update, supports Windows Server 2016, improves built-in dictionary attacks, and includes a handful of bug fixes and performance improvements.
Elcomsoft System Recovery can reset account passwords instantly, while supporting pre-configured attacks to recover the original passwords. The tool can help system administrators regain control over locked Windows accounts in Windows 7, 8, 8.1, Windows 10, as well as many legacy versions of Windows and all relevant versions of Windows Server. 32-bit and 64-bit systems are supported.
